This is an issue I have posted on my comicvine and facebook account. It started with research for a story I have been working on that's taken away from my drawing and soccer playing time. I was looking to introduce a differently evolved being but realized something as my story is driven towards two races of man finding peace with each other...Then I saw that number...200,000. That is how long we as a people have walked the earth. I have read about all the roman,egyptian, mayan, chinese, japanese cultures to see that people are basically the same throughout history. Stealing, cheating, raping, killing, cannibals, I mean so much ill and immoral crap that has gone on since we came into existence. Now we can shoot objects in space but can calmly settle a dispute over trivial matters like hitting someone's car, or sleeping with someone's spouse(dump whosoever and pick another one of the millions of people in the world). I personally feel too much time has gone by for no solution to these matters to have yet to emerge. 200,000 and thats is as far as scientists have been able to prove since the planet has been around for billions of years without records written down. I really quit this time. If someone comes at me trying to rob me or steal from me I dont what Im going to do cause it will just piss me off. I have calmly handled such matters cause a few times people attacking me on my nightly strolls are just lost and confused individuals while others are selfish cowards looking for an easy buck and take on more than they expected. Now after learning all this I am done with compassion for others who mimic actions of a breed of human long extinct. It is really time for a change. We need a possible utopian solution from somewhere because I know Im obviously too dumb to think of anything.
